Course Goal / Objective
The primary objective of this course is to provide students with a foundational understanding of the legal principles and rules governing business transactions and organizations. It aims to equip students with the ability to recognize legal issues in business scenarios, understand the risks associated with commercial decisions, and grasp the fundamental rights and obligations of business entities.
Course Content
The course covers the basic concepts of law, the judicial system, and specific branches of law relevant to business. Key topics include the Law of Obligations (contracts and torts), Commercial Law (commercial enterprises and partnerships), Negotiable Instruments, Labor Law, and Intellectual Property rights.
