Course Goal / Objective
The objective of this course is to enable students to identify and prioritize public health issues, plan public health nursing interventions for at-risk groups, develop community-based nursing approaches, and acquire skills in health education, counseling, follow-up, and evaluation.
Course Content
This course covers the identification and prioritization of public health issues, the prevention and control of infectious diseases, community-based management of chronic diseases, immunization services, public health nursing practices for women, children, adolescents, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups, health education, home care, and ethical and legal issues.
