Course Goal / Objective

The objective of this course is to enable students to acquire the skills to identify needs, plan programs, develop interventions, implement them, and monitor and evaluate outcomes for individuals, families, and communities using health promotion and development models.

Course Content

This course covers the planning of health promotion programs, needs assessment, prioritization, goal setting, model-based intervention development, health education and counseling planning, behavior change strategies, implementation at the individual, family, and community levels, monitoring and evaluation, process and outcome evaluation, as well as case- and field-based health promotion projects.
