Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to examine recent scientific research in the field of childhood studies in order to identify current trends. It seeks to develop students’ ability to critically read, analyze, compare, and interpret research findings.

Course Content

This course focuses on analyzing contemporary trends in childhood research based on studies published in recent years. Topics such as children’s rights, digital childhood, social-emotional learning, peer relationships, values education, child well-being, play, early literacy, and inclusion are examined.
