Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to examine the nature of mathematical skills in mathematics education and their place in curricula, to discuss current research trends focusing on the teaching and assessment of these skills, and to enable postgraduate students to develop a comprehensive perspective for their academic studies.

Course Content

This course covers the theoretical framework of mathematical skills, their integration into mathematics curricula, classroom practices, and developmental processes.
