Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to train individuals who can identify chemical risk factors in workplaces, analyze exposure routes, evaluate toxicological effects, and apply appropriate risk control methods.
Course Content
Classification of chemical risk factors, sources and routes of exposure in the workplace, toxicology and the effects of chemicals on human health, occupational exposure limit values, chemical risk assessment methods, risk control hierarchy, use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), ventilation and engineering controls, national and international occupational health and safety legislation, chemical accidents and emergency management.
