Course Goal / Objective

To provide the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to understand the biology, genetics, pathogenesis, and roles of anaerobic bacteria in clinical infections, and to analyze diagnosis, antimicrobial resistance, and treatment strategies.

Course Content

This lecture covers biology, pathogenesis, microbiota interactions, clinical roles, laboratory diagnosis, molecular methods, antimicrobial resistance, and current treatment approaches of anaerobic bacteria.
