Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this lecture is to teach the epidemiological characteristics of infectious diseases, to understand transmission dynamics, surveillance, and outbreak investigation methods, and to develop evidence-based approaches for prevention and control through epidemiological data analysis.

Course Content

Epidemiology of infections examines transmission dynamics, surveillance, outbreak analysis, vaccination strategies, antimicrobial resistance, healthcare-associated infections, and molecular approaches to understand and control disease spread.
