Course Goal / Objective
To teach students basic and advanced techniques used in a clinical microbiology laboratory; to equip them with the competence to evaluate the entire process, from sample acceptance to results reporting, with analytical accuracy, quality control, and clinical correlation.
Course Content
This lecture covers theoretical and practical training in clinical microbiology laboratory procedures, including specimen processing, microscopy, culture techniques, bacterial identification, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, molecular methods, and quality control processes.
