Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the effectiveness of economic policy in addressing economic issues by presenting the conceptual framework of economic policy and the perspectives of various economic approaches on economic policy.

Course Content

Rather than focusing on cause-and-effect relationships, theoretical economics examines future economic events within a means-end framework. To this end, the economic system, economic policy decision-making units, the objectives and instruments of economic policy, and economic policy measures—from diagnosis to implementation—are the subject of analysis.
