Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is; The aim is to provide competencies regarding the basic concepts of play, play theories, types, the role of play in the development of the child, its planning and implementation, and the properties and development of play materials.

Basic concepts about play and the importance of play, History of play, Play theories, Development of play, Types of play, Effects of play on developmental areas, Methods of knowing the child through play, Importance of play in solving problems related to child development, Play as a teaching method, Children of different age groups Examples of games for different development areas, Importance and features of game materials, Examples of game materials for different development areas
