Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to explore space not merely as a site of display but as an active and constitutive element in artistic production. It seeks to enable students to investigate the relationships between space, body, and viewer through conceptual and experimental approaches, and to develop site-specific artistic practices.

Course Content

This course examines the concept of space through its physical, conceptual, and experiential dimensions. Contemporary art practices such as installation, site-specific interventions, public space projects, and performative uses of space are discussed. Students conduct research on selected spaces and develop projects that respond to their spatial context. The course integrates concept development, spatial analysis, artistic production, and documentation as an interconnected process.
