Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to train individuals who can identify physical, chemical, biological, and ergonomic risks arising in waste management processes, conduct risk assessments, and implement occupational health and safety measures.

Course Content

Waste types, waste management hierarchy, hazardous waste, recycling processes, occupational health and safety in waste collection and disposal processes, risk assessment, use of PPE, biological and chemical exposures, legislation, emergency management, and field applications.
