Course Goal / Objective

tudents will: Explain the mechanism of voice production. Identify the organs involved in sound production. Distinguish between healthy and incorrect voice use.

Course Learning Outcomes

LO01 To define the mechanism of voice production (respiration, phonation, resonance, and articulation) at an anatomical level and explain the interaction between these systems using pedagogical terminology.
LO02 To identify technical issues across different voice types (intonation errors, register breaks, vocal strain, etc.) through auditory and visual observation, and to develop specific exercise-based solutions for these issues.
LO03 To design appropriate warm-up and technical routines for all age groups from beginner to advanced levels, and to create personalized lesson plans based on individual student needs.
LO04 To distinguish vocal styles ranging from the Baroque era to contemporary techniques and to effectively teach the technical requirements of these styles (ornamentation, diction, phrasing).
LO05 To recognize pathologies and factors that threaten vocal health, and to guide students on vocal hygiene while teaching the preventative techniques necessary for a sustainable performance career.
