Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide students with a fundamental understanding of tourism concepts and to enable them to comprehend the structure, functioning, and importance of the tourism industry.
Course Content
This course examines the fundamental concepts of tourism, its historical development, the tourism system, tourism supply and demand, tourist behavior, types of tourism, and tourism enterprises. It also covers the economic, social, cultural, and environmental impacts of tourism, the concept of sustainable tourism, current tourism trends, and the relationship between gastronomy and tourism.
