Course Goal / Objective
The overall objective of this course is to provide a background of basic physics concepts required for engineering education.
Course Content
Physics and measurement, Vectors, Motion in one dimension, Motion in two dimensions, Newton's laws and its applications, Work and energy, Potential energy and conservation of energy, Momentum and Collisions, Kinematics of rotations, Rotation of a rigid object about a fixed axis, Equilibrium of solid materials, Gravitation.
