Course Goal / Objective

Comprehend the purpose and importance of the tecnical drawing. Learning of computer-aided drawing software. Learning to make a two-dimensional drawing and dimensioning. Preperation of two-dimensional projection and cross-sectional views of a three-dimensional object. Obtaining isometric view of two known components.

Course Content

1. Introduction to technical drawing and drawing tools and their usage. 2. Introduction to drawing lines and their usage. 3. Introduction to AutoCad. 4. Geometrical shapes, ellips and objects different circle. 5. Projections. 6. Reading technical drawing. 7. Perspective drawing, isometric and oblique projections. 8. Sectional Views. 9. Dimensioning. 10. Assembly.

LO05 The student learns to draw the projections of three-dimensional shapes and understands the importance of projection and representation.
LO06 The student learns to read the technical drawings drawn with projection and acquires the ability to imagine in three dimensions.
LO07 Student learns perspective painting, isometric and oblique projection.
LO08 The student learns to make cross-sectional views of three-dimensional shapes and understands the use cases and importance of cross-sectional views.
LO09 The student learns to measure the two-dimensional drawings according to the technical drawing rules.
LO10 The student learns to draw an assembly picture on a two-dimensional plane.
