Course Goal / Objective

Introduction to engineering materials, comprehend the importance of engineering materials with examples from daily life, the relationship between macroscobic properties of materials and their atomic/crystal structures. Understanding of the materials used in each field of engineering and classification according to the application area, examining mechanical / thermal / electrical / magnetic properties of engineering materials.
