Course Goal / Objective

To introduce inland waters in terms of their physicochemical and biological properties, to provide information on the functional relationships between the physicochemical dynamics of surface waters and the biotic environment, and to give the importance of inland waters in basin management and monitoring studies.

The physical, chemical and biological properties of inland waters (lakes, rivers, transitional waters), energy and productivity, eutrophication, limnological surveys, monitoring in inland waters and legislations
