Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is the dynamics and evolutionary origins of animal behavior, heredity and environment in behavior; To provide the student with knowledge and perspective on the types of behavior and main social behaviors in fish.
Course Content
General concepts about animal behavior, natural selection and sexual selection; heredity and environment in fish behavior; Sensory organs in fish and their roles on fish behavior; Courtship, competition, aggression, territoriality, flock formation, nutrition, migration and defense in fish are taught by creating learning environments within the scope of the theoretical course.
