Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to teach students the most important elements of marine fish farming, such as hatcheries, site selection, filter systems that are of great importance for hatcheries, elements exist in hatcheries, general information about live feed production, which has an important place in larvae farming, cage systems widely used today in growing fish to market size, basic farming techniques of species such as sea bream, sea bass, sole, turbot, and fish growth performance measurement criteria.

Course Content

297 / 5.000 Course content consists of Hatchery systems and hatchery filters, tank and larvae production systems, cage location selection criteria and cage systems, general characteristics of live feed production, sea bream, sea bass, sole, turbot farming techniques and growth performance measurement criteria.
