Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to teach current information about the biology, ecology, conservation of sea turtles and sea turtle species and nesting areas in Türkiye.
Course Content
The content of this course includes taxonomy, reproduction, nesting, feeding, distribution, migration and diving behaviour of sea turtles, biological characteristics, ecology, conservation, effects of climate crisis on sea turtles, as well as information about sea turtle species nesting in Türkiye and nesting beaches in Türkiye.
