Course Goal / Objective
The aim is to help students learn what their responsibilities and authorities are as occupational safety specialists when they start working life, to create an occupational health and safety culture and awareness, and to recognize industrial hazards and risks.
Course Content
The concept and history of Occupational Health and Safetyinternational and national legislation, safety culture and safety climate, The relationship between human and public health and occupational health,basic and applied principles in occupational health and safety, workplace environment and risk groups among employees,risk assessment,occupational diseases and protection, workplace accidents and protection,ergonomics,health of healthcare workers, workplace health services, and the duties of the occupational health and safety committee.
