Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students to approach the concept of entrepreneurship holistically, incorporating the principles of sustainable development; and to equip them with the skills to develop innovative business ideas that consider economic, environmental, and social dimensions. The course aims to enable students to create sustainable business models and develop entrepreneurial solutions to societal and environmental problems.

Course Content

The concept and types of entrepreneurship, fundamental principles of sustainable development, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustainable entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, green initiatives, circular economy, innovation and technology-based sustainable solutions, business model canvas, sustainable value proposition, impact measurement, funding sources, and best practice examples.
