Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to analyze environmental issues arising in food processing operations, to recognize modern technologies in water and waste management, to apply energy efficiency practices, to recover by-products and develop sustainability strategies, and to produce engineering-based solutions in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Course Content

It covers environmental sustainability and resource management in the food processing sector, including the efficient use of water resources, classification and management of waste, energy efficiency practices, and strategies for recycling and reuse.
