Course Goal / Objective
Alternative fuel vehicles, Biofuels, Biodiesel, Natural Gas and LPG vehicles and engine construction, Use of Alternative Energy Sources, Renewable Energy Types (Solar, Wind, Geothermal, Wave, biomass, Hydrogen, Hydraulics etc.), Economic Status, Use by Countries, Energy The main goal is to teach the students the comparison of their varieties and their applications.

Introduction to Biofuels, Biofuel raw materials, Biological varieties, Biofuels safety, Economic and environmental impacts, Revision of fossil-based fuels, Current methods of producing biofuels from waste, Thermochemical methods for the production of biological and biofuels, Biofuels as biodiesel and other fuels, Biofuels in the world and Turkey production, Oil and gas properties, Compressed Natural Gas properties, The concept of renewable and renewable energy sources, Efficiency and economy, Global warming, Climate Change, Fossil fuels, Nuclear energy, Wind energy, Hydroelectric energy, Tidal and wave energies, Hydrogen energy and solar energy applications, Fuel cells and basic properties, Definition and purpose of facility planning, Facility location selection, Factors affecting location selection decision, Establishment location determination methods, Basic steps in facility layout
