Course Goal / Objective
The main aim of this course is to transfer the logic of current video technology to the students, to provide the students with the necessary knowledge and equipment to use the possibilities provided by this technology correctly, and to enable the student to acquire the skills to solve the problems that will be encountered in this business field in the future.
Course Content
The content of this course covers the historical development of video technology, the working mechanisms of analog and digital technologies and accordingly the basic working principles of current video technology. In addition, framing ratios and broadcast formats used in cinema and broadcasting are among the contents of this course. After the midterm exams, the course aims to reinforce the knowledge learned about video by focusing on application studies.
Course Precondition
1. In order to conduct this course, the student must have a computer to use editing applications. 2. In order to conduct this course, the student is expected to have access to editing application software.
