Course Goal / Objective

To teach graduate students who plan to study mineral deposits how to use stable isotopes to determine the formation conditions of mineral deposits.

Course Content

This subject emphasizes the importance of stable isotopes in mineral deposits, which is based on the study of natural changes in the relative abundances of isotopes of elements. Using these isotopes plays a major role in determining the formation processes of mineral deposits.
