Course Goal / Objective
The aim is for students to lists the basic concepts of epidemiology, to evaluate the factors affecting the emergence, transmission and spread of diseases that students may encounter during their education and professional life, and to define what needs to be done for disease control and eradication.
Course Content
The lesson includes the aim and sections of epidemiology, transmission and spread of infections, types of infection, structure of animal populations, distribution of diseases, types and stages of epidemiological research, health schemes, zoonotic diseases, control and eradication of diseases.
