Course Goal / Objective

The aim is to provide information on reproduction, andrology, endocrinology, fertility and infertility in domestic and farm animals, to teach artificial insemination methods, practices to increase pregnancy rates, herd fertility parameters, breeding animal and sperm selection, and to convey information on the structure, formation, obtaining and short- and long-term storage of spermatozoa, oocytes and embryos.

Course Content

Formation of spermatozoa and embryos, obtaining and freezing from animals, andrology and infertility in male animals, hormonal mechanisms in domestic and farm animals, estrous cycles, control of reproduction and artificial insemination methods, selection of breeding animals and sperm
