Course Goal / Objective
The student aims to learn about the etiology, clinical findings, medical and surgical treatment methods and preventive treatments of oral and dental diseases seen in animals and to effectively transfer the acquired knowledge to clinical practice.
Course Content
It includes understanding the anatomy and physiology of teeth in dogs and cats, examination of the oral cavity and teeth, all the details of dental radiography, surgical techniques of oral and dental diseases, evaluation of etiology and clinical findings of periodontal diseases, treatment of periodontal diseases, identification of endodontic and periapical diseases, application of restorative treatment and filling methods, and principles of diagnosis and treatment of oral neoplasms.
