Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to enable students to explain the etiology, clinical findings, medical and surgical treatment methods of oral and dental diseases in animals, as well as to define preventive treatments and effectively transfer the acquired knowledge to clinical practice.
Course Content
This course includes dental anatomy and physiology in cats and dogs, examination of the oral cavity and teeth, all the details of dental radiography, surgical techniques of oral and dental diseases, etiology and clinical findings of periodontal diseases, treatment of periodontal diseases, definition of endodontic and periapical diseases, application of restorative treatment and filling methods, and principles of diagnosis and treatment of oral neoplasms.
