Course Goal / Objective
Through this course, students will showcase their proficiency in creating artwork. 1) **Conceptual Understanding:** **Objective:** Enhance students' ability to transform conceptual ideas into tangible artworks. **Outcome:** A completed ceramic artwork, ready for exhibition. 2) **Technical Application:** **Objective:** Apply existing ceramic shaping skills while creating artwork with clay material. **Outcome:** Demonstration of advanced technical skills. 3) **Collaborative Work:** **Objective:** Develop collaborative skills and idea exchange. **Outcome:** Balanced artworks enriched with various perspectives. 4) **Presentation and Critique Skills:** **Objective:** Improve participation in presentation and critique sessions. **Outcome:** Clear articulation of creative and technical processes.
Course Content
This course involves a comprehensive project in which students will develop and create a ceramic artwork. **Main Topics:** **Project Planning:** - Developing concept and design proposals. - Selecting and preparing materials. **Design Implementation:** - Applying advanced ceramic techniques. - Design development based on feedback. **Setup and Presentation:** - Documenting and presenting the final artworks. **Evaluation and Critique:** - Evaluating the production of the artwork. - Participating in group critiques.
