Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to teach fundamental statistical methods in data analysis, provide an understanding of probability theory, and develop statistical interpretation skills through various distributions. Enhancing analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities is aimed.

Course Content

Frequency distributions and graphing techniques are examined, along with measures of central tendency and the coefficient of variation. Linear transformations, moments, skewness, and kurtosis are analyzed to assess the characteristics of data distributions. Random variables and probability functions are introduced, with calculations of expected value, variance, and covariance. Various probability distributions are studied and their applications in statistical analysis are evaluated.
