Course Goal / Objective

To introduce the repertoire of instruments in the Wind-Percussion family in the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary Periods, in the forms of Concerto, Sonata, Suite, Symphony, Symphonic Poem, Overture and Chamber Music (Trio, quartet, kentet).

Course Content

Starting from the Baroque Period, the use of the Wind-Percussion Instrument family in composition forms in the periods of Music History, its development and repertoire are examined in chronological order. Interpretive differences between the performances of the works are evaluated comparatively by watching audio or audio and video recordings.
