Course Goal / Objective

Disease-host interactions in plants damaged by biotic and abiotic factors in all fruit trees, physiological and anatomical changes in the diseased plants, symptoms, etiology of disease factors, recognition, propagation and distribution ways, conditions of infection, proliferation of factors, life cycles and struggle. To develop the basic and general concepts related to the methods.

Course Content

Recognition, etiology, epidemiology and struggles of damages and diseases caused by abiotic factors including fungus, bacteria, virus and virus-like biotic disease factors that are harmful in fruit cultivation and environmental stress factors (climatic conditions, soil conditions, etc.) environmental pollutants and erroneous cultural practices.
