Course Goal / Objective

The aim is to provide knowledge and competence in entrepreneurship and to introduce students to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, enabling them to develop solution-oriented thinking skills to tackle challenges they may encounter in the business world.

Course Content

Importance, Development and Concept of Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Qualities and Factors Affecting Entrepreneurship, Developments in Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship in Turkey, Women Entrepreneurship, Structural Features of Turkish Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurship Problems and Solution Suggestions will be covered.

LO08 Defines the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Turkey and provides examples of successful entrepreneurship. Examines global entrepreneurial trends and examples of entrepreneurship around the world.

PLO06 Yetkinlikler - Öğrenme Yetkinliği The student defines the machining and chipless production methods, selects and applies appropriate methods in different production processes.
PLO07 Yetkinlikler - Öğrenme Yetkinliği The student selects the appropriate material for the production process and explains the selection criteria with technical justifications.
PLO08 Yetkinlikler - Öğrenme Yetkinliği The student optimizes the manufacturing process by determining the appropriate cutting tool and cutting parameters for the workpieces.
PLO09 Yetkinlikler - Öğrenme Yetkinliği The student applies basic measurement techniques in the field of machinery by adhering to scientific methods and evaluates the measurement results.
PLO10 Yetkinlikler - İletişim ve Sosyal Yetkinlik The student follows scientific and technological innovations in the field of machinery and integrates the acquired knowledge into her/his professional development through the foreign language she/he learns.
PLO11 Yetkinlikler - Alana Özgü Yetkinlik The student applies the knowledge and skills acquired in the field of mechanical technologies in accordance with the rules of professional ethics.
