Course Goal / Objective
To provide students general information about the introduction, classification, economic importance, biological characteristics and physiology, ecological requirements, propagation, and growing techniques of horticultural plants.
Course Content
Defining, classification, economic importance, biological and physiological characteristics, ecological requirements and propagation of horticultural plants, the establishment of an vineyard and orchard, cultural practices, harvest, postharvest handling, and storage of horticultural products.
