Course Goal / Objective
Understanding the working structure of the vehicle air conditioning system and basic information about thermal comfort parameters and numerical and experimental studies carried out in the cabin environment during the vehicle design process.
Course Content
Introduction to the general structure of the vehicle air conditioning system and system components. Basic information about the heating and cooling process of the cabin interior. Cooling cycle calculations in vehicle air conditioning systems. Thermal comfort parameters and international standards. Examination of thermal comfort parameters in the cabin interior. Numerical examination of thermal comfort parameters in the cabin interior using the CFD technique. Numerical examination of thermal comfort parameters in the cabin interior using the CFD technique. Basic information about the experimental measurement of thermal comfort parameters in the cabin interior. Recent developments in the field of heating, cooling and air conditioning in vehicles.
