Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of this course is to help students understand the anatomical basis of movement and to teach the function of the basic structures of the human body musculoskeletal system related to movement. By examining body structures such as muscles, bones, joints and the nervous system, students will understand the roles of these structures in movement processes and will be able to apply functional anatomy in practice.

Course Content

At the end of the course, students will understand the anatomical basis of movement and gain the ability to apply this knowledge in real life.

Course Precondition

There are no prerequisites for the course.

Resources

1. Current articles and online resources 2. Dere Anatomy Atlas and Textbook 3. Dere Atlas of Neuroanatomy and Functional Neurology

Notes

Additional readings will be assigned during the course.
