Course Goal
To make a comparative study of written texts on early and late history, artistic styles and artists production processes and of the basic concepts of these texts
Course Content
Students are assigned to study and discuss selected art readings including criticism on different periods and styles of modern art, written from onthological / phenomonological / iconograhic perspectives. Students are presented with relevant tools and experiences in crafting their own art criticism.
