Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course focusing on principles of plant biotechnology, addressing molecular basis of interactions of plants with viruses, bacteria and fungi.

Course Content

"This course covers the molecular basis of interactions of plants with viruses, bacteria and fungi. It covers defense mechanisms in plants, plant resistance proteins, effector proteins, signaling processes, defense-related signal transduction pathways, host defense responses, resistance breakdown, and control measures by genetic modification."
