Course Goal / Objective

This lesson is designed to enable students to understand scientific project processes and develop project development skills. The course covers fundamental topics such as the concept of a project, scientific research methods, data collection, hypothesis formulation, identification of variables, experiment design, and result analysis. Additionally, the course focuses on national and international project support programs (TÜBİTAK, Erasmus+ Youth Programs, European Solidarity Program, etc.), funding application processes, and project writing techniques. Students acquire knowledge in project management, budget planning, ethical principles, and scientific reporting, gaining the ability to implement scientific projects in their academic and professional lives.

Course Content

Project concept and fundamental components, scientific research methods, project idea development and topic selection, data collection methods and hypothesis formulation, identification of variables and experiment design, project management and processes, scientific project reporting and academic writing, national and international project support programs (TÜBİTAK, Erasmus+, European Solidarity Program, etc.), project application processes and funding sources, budget planning and resource management, ethical principles and responsibilities in scientific projects, project presentation and evaluation criteria, applied project writing and application preparation, project implementation phases and monitoring processes.
