Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to provide students with essential physiological knowledge, terminology, and concepts that form the foundation for professional veterinary applications. It also focuses on explaining the principles of cell and body fluids, fluid-electrolyte therapy, and the physiological mechanisms of the blood, cardiovascular, muscular, and nervous systems, ensuring students grasp the functional dynamics of body systems.
Course Content
This course introduces the historical background and core concepts of physiology, exploring cell physiology, body fluids and buffering agents, blood, and the physiological functions, structures, and working mechanisms of the cardiovascular, muscular, and nervous systems.
