Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with information about boron and its compounds and to introduce the areas in which these compounds are used.

Course Content

In this course, an introduction to boron chemistry and the importance of boron, boron reserves in our country, the importance of organoboranes and inorganic boron compounds, structural characterization of boron compounds to be produced and industrial applications of boron compounds are explained.
