Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to teach the general biology, ecology and distribution areas of aquatic turtle species living in our country, the factors threatening the extinction of species and the measures required for their conservation.

Including of taxonomy of marine turtles and species identification, Biology, ecology and distribution of Chelonia mydas and Caretta caretta, Introduction to evolution, life history, Biology and ecology of freswater turtles
