Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the research methods and ethical principles used in the field of public finance and to ensure that students adhere to research ethics in the process of generating academic knowledge.

Course Content

In this course, basic concepts of scientific research, research processes in the field of finance, data types and analysis techniques, epistemological foundations of scientific knowledge production, plagiarism and unethical behaviour types, academic integrity, research permissions, ethics committee processes, social responsibility, ethical dilemmas in public policy research will be covered.
