Course Goal / Objective

The aim is to introduce analytical problems encountered in translational medicine research, to offer solutions, to teach how to evaluate analytical data with laboratory applications, and to emphasize the importance of laboratory safety in this process.

Course Content

The course covers basic topics such as the role of analytical chemistry methods in translational medicine research, experimental design, quantitative/qualitative analyses, sample preparation techniques, data analysis, instrument use, and laboratory safety.

LO05 Takes precautions against chemical, biological and physical hazards that may be encountered in the laboratory environment.
LO06 Defines quality control principles in analytical measurements in the field of health and interprets internal and external quality control data.
