Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce students to commonly used statistical analysis methods in educational research and to develop their ability to interpret and conduct appropriate analyses. Additionally, students will learn to make data-driven decisions by applying these methods using statistical software such as SPSS.
Course Content
The role and importance of statistics in education Basic concepts: variable types, levels of measurement Descriptive statistics (mean, median, standard deviation, charts) Normality, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square test Correlation and regression analysis Reliability and validity analysis Applications using SPSS software Analyzing educational datasets Practice-based project assignments
